Crowns of Nyaxia shipping date

We wanted to give you a quick update on your special editions of The Serpent & the Wings of Night and The Ashes & the Star-Cursed King - we know you're excited to receive them (and trust us, we can’t wait for you to get them on your bookshelves!) but there’s been a slight bump in the road.

The printers for this project have recently experienced a cyber-security attack, which stopped all printing for a number of days and impacted the publishing world throughout the UK. We've been working closely with them to minimise the impact on this project, but because of this, it means that our editions will be delayed slightly and we can’t guarantee a March delivery.

However, because of this delay, we’re extending the deadline for address changes to 11:59 PM GMT on Sunday, 16th March 2025. If you need to update your shipping details, please email your new address and order number to support@lilaclibrarys.com.

We’ll keep you updated as soon as we have more news - as a small business, we truly appreciate your patience and support as we navigate these unexpected plot twists!

Even prettier in person

Loved the Dust jackets

I ordered the US and UK edition dust jackets and loved them. They were unique and packaged up so nicely. I look forward for you doing more dust jackets but also more books. Can't wait to get on the quarterly subscriptions soon

It's okay but given the gorgeous editions I'm used to from Lilac Library's I'm a bit disappointed.

The book is amazing quality and just absolutely stunning!! Cannot wait to curl up and read it!

Hoping for improvement

I was really looking forward to this subscription. I hoping because it’s the first book there will be trial and error. But I was really surprised that the alternative cover was on the back of the dust jacket, when originally stated it wasn’t. The trad book cover was on the front with all the embossing and foil. I flipped the dust jacket over but you can see the main regular cover through it and bc the alternative cover is just printed on the back, the black is gonna start to wrinkle and you’ll be able to see white, I already see it on the spine. I wish it was like other subs where the new Alternative dust jacket cover is the main dust jacket cover, front and center. And the trad is on the back (or honestly not even at all). That’s honestly why I pay for subs, to have something different not to have something I can already have from where else, cheaper. This was just verrryyy similar to the Waterstones edition minus the end paper art and almost cost double.
I do also feel awful for the people that ordered Book 1 and 2 of the Nyaxia series but will not have access to Book 3 bc they aren’t subscribers. If for any reason Book 3 eventually can become available to non subscribers, I am glad they allowed subscribers to have a free skip for this June pick and not be penalized.
Overall, like I said, I hopeful that future books will turn out better. But if this continues to just be a glorified Waterstones edition and continued regular traditional covers on the front, I’ll most likely cancel especially with them not being signed in any way because it’s just not worth the price to the US.
