About Fern: Fern enjoys horse riding, spending time with her guinea pigs Rusty and Poe, and going out for brunch. She also loves (a little too much?!) showing off her bookcase display and recommending books, BUT don't ask to see her Kindle library... if you know, you know...
After spending many months on book subscription waitlists with no luck and a lot of disappointment, Fern thought "f*ck it, I'll do it myself" and just like that Lilac Library's was born.
Now, Fern enjoys giving the bookish community what it wants and needs whilst collaborating with so many talented artists to design and create new products.

George

About George: George has an actual English Lit degree and don't we know it - he'll never stop going on about it. Apart from reading "the classics" he's started dabbling in YA fantasy and he's slowly turning to the dark side...
Aside from being snobby, he enjoys CrossFit (a little too much if you ask us, but we all have our kryptonite…) and makes great 'slutty' brownies. If you want the recipe, send us an email and George will send it your way (but he might ask for your first-born child in return).

Jake

Finance (Assistant to the Assistant Regional Manager)

Favorite book genre: Favourite book genre: Surfing and Fishing (we know, we know, it doesn't make sense to us either…)

  • Rumour has it Jake read a book once… no record exists of what that was though (probably a tax sheet)
About Jake: Jake enjoys just about everything but books (honestly, who hired him?!). When not cooking our late-night dinners, you can find him surfing when there are waves, carp fishing when there aren't, and golfing when he's sick of being wet.
Part-time Finance, part-time Chief Breakfast Maker, Jake makes a perfect poached egg every time and doesn't need a calculator to count past 10. But he can't read a page of fantasy - come on now.
